Best Kindle Colorsoft case, screen protector and accessories
Colorsoft cases are shared with the 7-inch Paperwhite (2024). Look for both names on the listing.
The best Kindle Colorsoft case for most people is a slim folio that wakes and sleeps the screen, such as Amazon's own fabric case or a MoKo case for a fraction of the price. The Kindle Colorsoft (sometimes spelled Coloursoft) is the same size as the 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite from 2024, so cases are sold for both. Add a matte screen protector if you read outdoors or throw it in a bag. These were the best-selling Kindle Colorsoft cases and accessories on Amazon UK on 18 October 2026.

Will the case fit my Kindle Colorsoft?
- The Kindle Colorsoft and Colorsoft Signature Edition (2024) share their size with the 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite 12th generation (2024). A Kindle Colorsoft case listed for both fits either.
- Cases for older Paperwhites (6.8-inch, 11th generation) and the basic Kindle do not fit.
- A new, thinner Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition with an aluminium body (in colours including Fig) was listed on Amazon UK in October 2026. Cases made for the 2024 model may not fit it: buy a case that names the new generation.
- The Kindle Colorsoft Kids comes with its own kid-friendly cover. The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is an 11-inch device and needs a Scribe case.
What to look for
- Auto sleep and wake, so opening the cover wakes the screen.
- A cover that folds into a stand for hands-free reading, or a hand strap.
- Water resistance. The Colorsoft is waterproof; Amazon says its own case is water-safe too.
- Screen protectors: matte (anti-glare) protectors keep the paper-like feel; glossy ones can add reflections.
