This Timebucks review looks at what the site pays you to do, what it realistically earns, how cashing out works and the catches to know before you join. Timebucks is a website where you earn small cash rewards for surveys, tasks, games and similar activities. It is free to join, but the money is small, so treat it as pocket change rather than a wage. We use a referral link on this page, so if you join through it Timebucks pays us a commission.

What is Timebucks? A Timebucks review summary
Timebucks is a get-paid-to site. You complete activities for companies and they pay a small reward. Inside the account the main areas are Tasks, Surveys, Games, Daily Streak, Offerwalls and Refer. Rewards build up in your balance and are paid out to you when you reach the minimum.
How you earn on Timebucks
- Surveys: short market-research questionnaires, supplied through partners. Some end early if you do not match what the researcher wants.
- Tasks and offerwalls: small jobs and offers from other companies, such as completing a level in a game or signing up to something. Read each offer’s conditions, because many ask for more than a quick click.
- Games and Daily Streak: small bonuses for playing and for logging in several days in a row.
- Weekly checklist: bonus goals that reset every Monday. At the time we checked the bonuses were 10 cents for earning 50 cents in the week, up to $10 for earning $150.
- Referrals: Timebucks says you earn 10% commission on the lifetime earnings of people you refer.
Timebucks review: how much can you earn?
Timebucks pays in US dollars, and the rewards are small. Examples from Timebucks’ own live feed of completed tasks on 2 October 2026 included survey completions of about $0.18, $0.42, $0.50 and $0.69, one survey at $2.34, game bonuses of $0.06 to $0.09, and daily streak rewards of about $0.05 to $0.09. These are examples, not a promise of what you will get. Third-party reviews we read estimate roughly 50 cents to a dollar an hour for an active member, and some surveys end in a screen-out. Timebucks itself pays a small “time protection” credit of about 5 cents when a survey disqualifies you, which shows how common that is.
Put another way: if you want to earn a few pounds a month in spare minutes, it can do that. If you need an income, it will not.
How and when does Timebucks pay?
- Timebucks says rewards are sent daily, Monday to Friday, once you reach the minimum by the cut-off time of 11:59:59pm New York time.
- The minimum is about $3, according to Timebucks’ help centre.
- You choose a payment method in your account settings. Timebucks’ help centre lists several methods, including cryptocurrency and virtual cards. Sources disagree about PayPal, so check the options in your own settings and which ones work in your country.
- You will need to verify your identity before some payouts. Timebucks’ help centre describes ID verification.
The catches in this Timebucks review
- Low pay for your time. The rewards are small compared with the minutes you spend.
- Survey disqualifications. You can spend time on a survey and be screened out.
- ID verification. You may need to prove who you are before you can cash out.
- Not available everywhere. Timebucks lists countries where it or its surveys are unavailable.
- Payments in dollars. Exchange rates and payment-method fees can change what lands in your account.
- Offers can need money or card details. Some offerwall tasks ask you to subscribe or spend. Skip those unless you have read the terms and it is worth it.
- Referral income is small. It is 10% of other people’s small earnings.
How to get started with Timebucks safely
- Join through the link on this page and use a real email address.
- Answer the profile questions honestly. Surveys match on them.
- Start with a few surveys and tasks to see what pays, and skip any that ask for card details or paid sign-ups.
- Set a daily time limit so it stays pocket money.
- Set your payment method early and check the ID verification steps before you reach the minimum.
Who is Timebucks good for? Our Timebucks review verdict
It suits people who already have idle minutes, such as commuting or waiting, and who are happy with pence per task. It does not suit anyone who needs reliable income, dislikes surveys or does not want to verify their identity.
Timebucks review: quick questions
Is Timebucks free to join?
Yes, joining is free. Be cautious of any offer inside it that asks you to pay.
Is Timebucks legit? Our Timebucks review answer
It is an established site that pays out, but the earnings are small, so it is legitimate and not a living.
How much can I really make a week?
The weekly checklist starts at 50 cents of earnings, and the larger bonus goals go up to $150 a week. Most casual members will be at the low end.
