How We Make Money
Here is how we make money, in plain English. Tipped2Win is free to use. We earn commission when you use some of our links, we label those links, and commission never decides what we include. This page explains each way we earn, so you can always tell advertising from editorial.

How we make money from affiliate links
An affiliate link is a special link to a merchant. If you click it and then buy or sign up, the merchant may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is the same. Affiliate links are marked with a label such as Ad or Affiliate link on the offer or button, and pages that contain them say so near the top, before you decide whether to click.
How we make money from Amazon
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Tipped2Win is not endorsed by Amazon. When we link to an Amazon product we label the link, and we do not show live prices or availability unless Amazon’s own tools provide them.
How referral rewards work
Some offers give you a reward for joining, such as a bonus or cashback, and some also pay us if you join through our link. When an offer includes a reward for you, we show the amount and the main conditions next to it, and the date we last checked it. Rewards change and can end without notice, and some are random or vary, so always check the merchant’s own terms before you sign up. We only show a reward when we have verified it recently, and we hide it if we cannot confirm it still stands.
Display advertising
We may show adverts on the site in future. They will be clearly separate from our editorial content, and they will not change what we recommend.
What commission does not do
- It does not decide whether an offer is included. A lower-paying or unpaid offer can appear if it is genuinely useful.
- It does not change what we say about the catches.
- It does not let anyone pay to be described as “best”. If we ever have a sponsored placement it will be labelled as sponsored.
- It does not make us recommend products that make medical claims, or financial products that need regulated advice.
How to tell what is an advert
Look for the label. On an offer card you will see a line such as “Ad · affiliate link” or “Ad · referral”. If you see “Not an advert”, we do not earn from that link. Outbound links that earn us money are marked sponsored in the page code, which also tells search engines that they are commercial.
The rules we follow
Advertising must be obvious when you see it. We follow the guidance on affiliate marketing from the Advertising Standards Authority, and we label commercial links before you click, not in a footer you might not read.
How we keep it honest
- We check each offer on the merchant’s own page before publishing.
- We show the date we last checked it.
- We label every commercial link.
- We record what each affiliate programme allows and follow its rules.
- We fix mistakes quickly. Tell us on the contact page.

Questions about how we make money
Does it cost me more if I use your links?
No. The price is the same whether or not you use our link. The merchant pays us from its own marketing budget.
Do you only list offers that pay you?
No. We list what is useful. Some offers pay us nothing, and we label those as not an advert.
Can I support Tipped2Win without clicking a link?
Telling a friend, sharing a guide or joining the newsletter all help us reach more people.
