The Apple One free trial gives eligible people a free first month on any Apple services they do not already have. After that the bundle renews monthly until you cancel, so the sensible approach is to know which plan you are choosing, set a reminder and decide before the month ends. How the Apple One free trial works
Apple One bundles several Apple services into one monthly payment. At the time we checked, Apple’s UK page said any subscriptions you do not already have are free for the first month of your Apple One subscription. The trial applies only to services you are not already using through another trial or a paid subscription, so if you already pay for some of them, the free month covers only the rest.
What does Apple One cost after the free month?
- Individual: £18.95 a month.
- Family: £24.95 a month.
- Premier: £36.95 a month.

Who can get the Apple One free trial?
- Apple says the offer is for new and qualified returning subscribers only.
- It is limited to one per Apple Account, or one per Family Sharing group.

The catches with the Apple One free trial
- It renews automatically. After the free month you are charged each month until you cancel.
- Payment details. Expect to give them when you sign up, because the plan renews on its own.
- Only what you do not already have is free. If you already pay for some services, you may be paying for those from the start.
- Eligibility limits. One per account or Family Sharing group, and not if you have had a previous three-months-free offer.
- Prices and offers change. Always read the current terms on the sign-up page.
How to cancel the Apple One free trial
Apple says you can cancel your subscription at any time, at least a day before your monthly renewal date. You do it in your account settings:
- Open Settings on your Apple device and go to your Apple Account.
- Find your subscriptions and choose Apple One.
- Choose the option to cancel and follow the steps, at least a day before the renewal date.
- Keep the confirmation and check your next statement.

Is the Apple One free trial worth it?
It can be, if you would use several of the services and you would otherwise pay for them one by one. It is not worth it if you only want one service, because a bundle costs more than a single plan.
