Decide what you want the dock to do first. That matters more than the suction number.
The best robot vacuum and mop for most UK homes is one with an all-in-one dock that empties the bin and washes the mop, because that is what makes it hands-free. If you mainly have carpet, or a small flat, a cheaper self-emptying robot with a simple mop pad does the job. Below are eight robot vacuum and mop combos that were selling in large numbers on Amazon UK on 18 October 2026, from the cheapest type to the most automated.

The three types of robot vacuum and mop
- Robot with a mop pad and no emptying dock. It vacuums and mops at the same time, but you empty the bin and rinse the pad yourself. The cheapest way to get laser mapping.
- Self-emptying robot with a mop pad. The dock sucks the dust out of the robot into a sealed bag, so you only change the bag every month or two. You still rinse the mop.
- All-in-one dock (often called Omni or Ultra). The dock empties the dust, washes the mop with clean water, collects the dirty water and dries the mop. You refill the clean tank and empty the dirty one. This is the most hands-free robot vacuum and mop combo.
What to look for
- Laser (LiDAR) navigation. It maps rooms quickly and lets you set no-go zones and clean one room at a time from the app. Every pick below has it.
- Obstacle avoidance. Camera or 3D sensors help the robot steer round socks, cables and pet mess. Worth paying for if your floors are often cluttered.
- Mop type. Round spinning pads are the most common. A roller mop keeps rinsing itself with clean water as it goes, which helps on sticky kitchen floors.
- Height. Measure the gap under your sofa and bed. Slim robots of about 8 to 8.5cm reach where taller ones cannot.
- Wi-Fi. Most of these robots connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. Nearly every UK router offers it, but check if your network is 5GHz only.
- Suction in pascals (Pa). Higher numbers help on carpet, but brushes, sealing and navigation matter too. Do not choose on suction alone.

Best value all-in-one
eufy Omni C20
The station empties the bin, washes the mop and dries it, so you rarely touch the robot. It has 7,000Pa suction, spinning mops and a body 3.35 inches (about 8.5cm) tall that fits under many beds and sofas. It was one of the best-selling robot vacuum and mop combos on Amazon UK when we checked. The catch: the mop is dried with room-temperature air, not heated air.

Best budget self-emptying robot
Tapo RV30 Max Plus
Empties itself into a 3L sealed bag that TP-Link says lasts up to two months, and maps your home with LiDAR, including several floors. 5,300Pa suction. The dock does not wash the mop, so you rinse the pad yourself. A good fit for mostly carpeted homes.

Cheapest with laser mapping
roborock Q7 M5
LiDAR mapping, 10,000Pa suction and a detachable mop that lets it vacuum and mop in one run. There is no emptying dock: you empty the 400ml bin and refill the 270ml water tank by hand. Best for a flat or a small house.

Best for sticky kitchen floors
eufy C28 Omni
Mops with a 28cm roller instead of round pads. eufy says it spins at 270rpm and is fed clean water through 24 ports, so it scrubs rather than wipes. 15,000Pa suction, and the station empties into a 3L bag, washes the roller and dries it with 50°C air. eufy quotes up to 75 days between visits.

Best for pet hair and clutter

Best for corners and low furniture

Robot vacuum and mop combo or a separate mop?
A robot vacuum and mop combo keeps hard floors clean day to day. It will not replace a proper wash of a very dirty floor, and none of these robots climbs stairs.
If most of your home is carpet, the mop matters less. A self-emptying robot such as the Tapo, or a cordless vacuum, may be better value.
With all-in-one docks, budget for replacement dust bags, mop pads and filters. Check that they are easy to buy on Amazon UK for the model you choose.
